Andretti Indoor Karting & Games Game Technician in San Antonio, Texas
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking an Game Technician to join the team at our San Antonio location
Starting at $16 per hour!
POSITION SUMMARY
An Andretti Game Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our game rooms, as well as anticipating guest needs, and exceeding guest service expectations all while supporting a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Anticipate and respond to Guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
Perform repairs on games: Explains operation of games to Guests.
Continued inventory of electronics, game parts, tools etc.
Proper documentation of game issues, parts and work history.
Must be able to work alone and be a self-starter.
Perform preventative maintenance on all aspects of the games, simulators and attractions.
Possess comfort with AV systems including movie sound, mobile video, projectors and control systems.
Must be able to use/read a volt/ohmmeter and a soldering gun.
Must be able to read schematics.
Stocks and maintains inventory of all prize games.
Basic knowledge of computers systems and some general point of sale operations.
Rudimentary knowledge of troubleshooting computer hardware and computer peripherals.
Ensures all games are clean and presentable to guest.
Observe, instruct and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
Assist with Guest recovery and notifies manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
Work as a team player in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments.
Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions.
Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games policies and procedures.
Knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
Perform Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
Adhere to proper uniform guidelines according to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games.
Display excellent communication skills.
Show eagerness to learn new skills and trades.

We start our non-tipped entry level positions at $15 per hour!

Skills & Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday.
Work varying days, nights, holidays and weekends.

Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis

Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
