Job Title: Fire Alarm Inspector

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in low voltage electrical systems/Fire and /or Life Safety Systems experience required

  • Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

  • Travel required

  • Ability to work well with others

  • Self-starter that can work without supervision

  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures

  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements

  • Fire Alarm License FAL

  • Achieve NICET Level II certification after 2 years on the job

  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals

Responsibilities:

  • Inspection, Maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems

  • Be skilled at Servicing and Inspecting Fire Alarm Systems per NFPA 72 Standards as well as National, State, and Local Codes

  • Adhere to all OSHA, customer and company safety policies and procedures

  • Demonstrate cooperation, teamwork, and a commitment to professional and organizational development
