ManpowerGroup Financial Services Project Manager in San Antonio, Texas

Our client, a municipal electric utilities company, is seeking a Financial Services Project Manager to join their team in San Antonio, TX . As a Financial Services PM, you will be the Financial Point of Contact and trusted Financial Advisor to designated Business Units/Areas supporting the financial management of the organization's programs, ensuring that program budgets are established, monitored, and controlled to maximize program value creation.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and an organized Planner, exhibit a discipline and drive for complex analytics, demonstrate creativity and innovation by finding solutions to financial challenges including resource optimization which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Financial Services Project Manager

Location: San Antonio, TX 78215 Onsite

Pay Rate: $53/hr.

Job Type: 2-year contract, W2 only (no C2C)

What’s the Job?

  • Collaborate with Program Financials team to develop and maintain financial models, assess ROI, and key metrics for investment decisions.

  • Coordinate annual development of 5-Year Labor, Operating, and Capital Budgets with Business Units/Areas, ensuring alignment with strategic direction.

  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering skill enhancement and capabilities.

  • Develop and sustain a culture of financial discipline and continuous learning within the team.

  • Support the creation and upkeep of program financial dashboards to monitor performance against objectives.

What’s Needed?

  • Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions such as SAP, PeopleSoft, or Hyperion

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field from an accredited university.

  • Experience with the electric or gas utility industry gained through experience at an electric/gas utility, an investment bank, consultant, or other professional service provider serving the industry.

  • At least one of the following certifications: Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Management Accountant, Certified Payroll Professional, Certified Treasury Professional, or Chartered Financial Analyst

  • Advanced MS Excel Skills

  • Experience with financial modeling
