Hyatt F&B Manager- Roving in SAN ANTONIO, Texas
Description:
TheF&B Manager- Rovingis a highly visible role with exposure to Senior leadership. This position reports to the Director of F&B. TheF&B Manager- Rovingwill be responsible for managing the day to day operation of the restaurant, banquets, lounges and any other F&B outlets along with the Director of F&B. This role will work closely with the Director of F&B and other departments to ensure seamless service in our outlets creating exceptional experiences for our guests and colleagues.
Duties:
Manage the restaurants and lounges while supporting other Food and Beverage outlets
Work closely with other hotel departments
Responsible for short- and long-term planning of staffing needs
Ensure effective hiring, training, development, promotion and continuous reinforcement
Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and colleague satisfaction results
Full understanding of colleague engagement
Support development and implementation of creative strategies for revenue enhancement and cost containment at the outlets with the Director of F&B
Manage within the approved plans for outlets
Responsible for maintaining a high energy, positive, professional appearance
Set and follow Health and Safety standards
Attend meetings as required
Serve as a role model for all colleagues
Ability to create and share cost saving tactics and ideas
Qualifications:
Requires full flexibility, ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays and a varied schedule
Must have smart serve and food handler certification
A true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a fast paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including a working knowledge of pointof sale systems
Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized
Candidates should possess proven leadership skills
Strong food and beverage knowledge
Ability to work long shifts while moving between various outlets
Beverage knowledge must include wine, spirits and beer
Ability to create a refined and innovative bar experience
Luxury Hotel or independent upscale bar F&B experience considered an asset
Thorough understanding and compliance with all health and safety regulations
3 years of progressive F&B leadership required
Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and effective in providing exceptional customer service
