Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. The Controller will be responsible for managing and controlling all financial and operational reporting, while also playing a crucial role in the strategic direction of the company. This role is integral to the development and execution of both short term and long-term strategies, as well as enhancing the company culture internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies, linked metrics, and policies.

• Establish a motivated team in line with business needs and financial staffing standards.

• Develop procedures to continuously improve internal control systems and ensure they are sound.

• Lead the preparation of financial statements and operating reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.

• Review financial statements and operating reports, performing gap analysis and providing recommendations to improve performance.

• Oversee timely and accurate processing of transactions and accounting data, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

• Coordinate with CPA firm for the preparation of external audit materials, external GAAP financial reporting, and all tax compliance and reporting.

• Manage annual audit and auditor relations.

• Responsible for monthly business review package, and delivery of monthly reporting package.

• Initiate and optimize strategies to enhance cash flow and working capital positions.

• Assess organizational performance against budgets with functional leaders and management team.

• Manage ongoing banking and bonding requirements.

• Lead the deployment and operation of ERP system.

• Ensure all employees embrace our safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives. Requirements

• Experience with Computer Ease software preferred, but not requires, experience with any major ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Great Plains, acceptable

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Auditing procedures and practices and revenue recognition

• Experience in Budget Processes, financial reporting and financial analysis

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and management skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced functions of Excel

• CPA certification is a plus
