Robert Half Controller in San Antonio, Texas

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the manufacturing industry based in San Antonio, Texas. This role is pivotal in maintaining and improving the company's financial health and ensuring its financial processes are transparent and efficient. You will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring proper revenue recognition, and utilizing a variety of accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and audits

• Ensuring company's revenue recognition is conducted in a timely and accurate manner

• Utilizing various accounting software systems for financial analysis and reporting

• Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings using ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances

• Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting including Form 10-K and Form 10-Q

• Ensuring compliance with GAAP principles

• Collaborating with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations

• Utilizing Netsuite CRM and NetSuite for customer relationship and business management

• Developing strategies to optimize accounting processes and procedures

• Ensuring all accounting activities align with the financial regulations and legislation. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of DCAA guidelines and regulations

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing and Budget Processes

• Understanding of Company Revenue Recognition and Proper Revenue Recognition

• Knowledge of Revenue Recognition Accounting

• Proficient in using Netsuite CRM and NetSuite

• Familiarity with SEC Reporting forms such as Form 10-K and Form 10-Q

• Experience in Biotech and Biotechnology industries

• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP Accounting and US GAAP standards
