The Role at a glance:

The catering cook is responsible for food production, delivery of food and beverages to customers on and off campus, setting up and breaking down catering equipment, greeting customers in a friendly manner and providing top quality customer service and professionalism.

Compensation

$14.50-$15.50/Hr.

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Where you'll be working:

University of Texas Health & Science Center

What you'll be doing:

Quality and portion control

Food preparation

Creative food presentation

Maintaining kitchen

Ensuring food is stored properly

Following safe food handling policies, procedures and recipes

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

· Lift a minimum of 50 pounds

· Carry, push, pull, kneel, stand and walk for an extended length of time

· Must be able to pass a criminal background check

· Must have a clean/valid driver's license to operate company vehicle

· Must be able to work unsupervised

· Basic food handling, knowledge, and prep

Nice-to-haves:

· Prior experience in catering or food service is a plus
