Job Description

Day-to-day:

A non-profit in San Antonio, Texas is looking for a Building Maintenance Technician I to join their team. This person will report on-site each day performing or assisting in general repairs and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing lighting systems, HVAC systems, plumbing/irrigations systems, vehicles, and other electrical aspects. The goal is to have effective working equipment and maintain the cleanliness of buildings and the grounds. It is essential that this person have a valid drivers license. The company will train on any specific areas of need and will provide assistance in obtaining an HVAC certification for the ideal candidate as they learn and grow with the team.

This is a contract to hire position that pays hourly based on experience. The pay ranges from $16-18/hour.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

 High school diploma or GED

 Drivers license with clear driving history (no DUIs or reckless driving charges)

 Ability to be coached Plusses:

 Bachelors degree

 Experience in HVAC, plumbing, irrigation, mechanical, sprinkler systems, or electrical null
