STRUCTURES MECHANIC POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures and fracture critical areas.

• Locating blind holes necessary for installation of new structural items to existing structure.

• Perform efforts associated with sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving structure in accordance with standard repair processes.

• Demonstrates the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair.

• Ability to proficiently access and manipulate computer systems daily for work instructions, drawings, and training

• Use of tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of structural parts.

• Applies professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals.

$10,000 completion bonus at the end of contract, which typically takes about a year or so

$35-$40/HR DEPENDING ON A&P License or not.

For per diem candidates (MUST live 50-75 miles from the facility) , it is $600 per week ON

TOP of hourly rate! (so $120 per day for up to 5 days)

We are also offering an additional per diem split, so total non-taxable wages for this position is $188/day up to 5 days.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $40.00/hr.
