Job Responsibilities:

• Hiring aircraft structural mechanics to perform maintenance, modifications and overhauls on F/A-18 fighter jets in San Antonio, TX.

• Your responsibilities will include disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair/replacement, and assembly operations on critical aircraft structures such as formers, longerons, ribs, and bulkheads. You will work in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, and supplier specifications.

• Additionally, you will handle heavy structural modifications, including wing root removal and replacement, and engage in all types of sheet metal fabrication, skin repairs, and structural repairs. You will also be responsible for the teardown, repair, overhaul, and reassembly of major aircraft systems and components.

Duration:

• 1+ year contract to hire.

Pay:

• Pay Rate: $37 - $40

• Per diem available for those who qualify

Shift:

• 1st Shift: M-F 5:30am-2:30pm (OT optional)

• 2nd Shift: M-F 2pm-10:30pm (OT optional)

• Candidates will ideally be open to both
