GE Vernova Training Manager Europe (m/f/d) in Salzbergen, Germany

Job Description Summary

The Europe Training Manager is responsible for the training delivery across the GE Vernova Wind European business. This includes running the training center in Salzbergen, our training center hub in the UK and onsite delivery model. You will develop the strategic training delivery plan based on GWO training and GE turbine specific training and ensure that it gets executed to meet the needs of the business. The role requires close collaboration with the global training development team as well as Training Managers from other regions to create global procedures and synchronize deliveries to global standards. You will be the regional point of contact for learning topics.

To be successful in this role, you are expected to be located in Salzbergen.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement a sustainable demand process

  • Create and deploy a strategic delivery plan across EU – and supporting other regions ad hoc

  • Lead and mentor instructors

  • Lead training quality in own area of responsibility and embrace the global standardization across GE Vernova Wind Learning Centers

  • Support global development initiatives and lead regional implementation in collaboration with training project managers

  • Drive implementation of global training tools like LMS

  • Work with the EU leadership teams to build solid business understanding and collaboration

  • Drive strategic collaboration with independent training providers

  • Drive EU training delivery KPIs and improvements

  • Run the training center financial model including budgeting and invoicing

Required Qualifications

  • BS Degree in business administration or similar

  • Financial and business acumen

  • Experience in running a business or training center

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and appropriately assign work to the team

  • Technical flair to understand the requirements of the target group and the instructors

  • Ability to lead and succeed in a matrix environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively across a diverse audience incl. Executive level

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and German

  • Proven recent successful leadership experience

  • Strong “can-do” attitude and ability to re-think processes to streamline activities and drive efficiencies, track record of motivating a team in times of change
