La posición de Técnico de Compras tiene como principal objetivo asegurar el surtimiento en tiempo y forma de materiales, herramientas, refacciones, servicios y equipo requerido en la empresa de acuerdo con los procedimientos, políticas y estándares establecidos. Desarrollará proveedores y buscará contratos con el objetivo de reducir costos de manera que se cumplan las metas y métricos asignados al departamento de Cadena de Suministros.

• Apoyar a los compradores en negociar acuerdos a largo plazo para materiales, bienes o servicios.

• Apoyar a los compradores en elaborar estrategias para la compra de componentes a nivel local y global con el apoyo de los Global Commodity Managers (solo Directos).

• Recomienda la utilización del proceso del proveedor mediante la interpretación de planos y la evaluación de las necesidades del cliente (solo Directos).

• Evalúa diseños de piezas con ingeniería, calidad y proveedores para adquirir eficiencias óptimas (solo Directos).

• Planificar, organizar, rastrear y comunicar información relacionada con los proveedores.

• Construir y desarrollar nuevas ideas de reducción de costos (Project Savings) y registra-los/ monitoréalos en el sistema global de gestión de la empresa (SPS).

• Seleccionar proveedores para productos existentes mediante el uso eficaz de habilidades de adquisición validadas en un entorno automotriz. En caso de Directos debe de seguir el APQP y aprobación del PPAP para nuevos proveedores.
