Hunt Electric, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT is searching for a full-time Structured Cabling Technology Apprentice to join our team within the Technology and Data Comm Division. The Technology Apprentice II position is an entry-level position that has the experience, or comprehension of basic structured cabling principles. This position will report directly to an area Foreman or Project Foreman to produce on time, within budget, project delivery while maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and craftsmanship. Project execution should be done within the confines of company goals and vision in order to exceed client expectations.
Major Duties:

- Able to read basic construction drawings
- Demonstrate Teamwork
- Know how to Terminate Copper Network Cabling
- Know how to Test Copper Network Cabling
- Exposure Fiber Optic Systems

This full-time Technology Apprentice position receives a competitive salary commensurate with experience and position responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications
- 12 Mo. experience in Structured Cabling Industry
- Experience working in a crew setting
- Hold Safety in High Regard
- Punctuality
- Able to lift 50lbs
Have own tools per tool list
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
- 18 mo. in Structured Cabling Industry
- Good Communications Skills
- Understand Project Scope of Work
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- History of successful/safe performance in the construction industry
Comprehension of Copper System Cabling Principles
