Job Summary

Greets and assists students and visitors in person or over the telephone. Provides general office support. Data entry & program information including the exam accommodation program.

Responsibilities

  1. Receives, greets, and directs visitors to the appropriate person or office.

  2. Answers telephones, provides assistance, and directs students regarding website processes.

  3. Places outbound calls to students and departments for exam scheduling.

  4. Schedules appointments for new student intakes, continuing appointments, and schedules student exams.

  5. Proctors student exams.

  6. Enters student exam time information, other exam duties as requested.

  7. Scans completed exams.

  8. Delivers and picks up exams from testing areas/center, as needed.

  9. Assists in set up, cleaning of exam rooms, and workstations.

  10. Answers questions about the Center for Disability and Access and associated activities.

The incumbents in this position are expected to be familiar with the department’s policies and procedures and are required to have working knowledge of University and department organizations and procedures in order to answer and assist staff and visitors.
