University of Utah Transplant Infectious Diseases Clinician in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

The Infectious Disease Division at the University Of Utah School Of Medicine is recruiting for a Clinical track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, with academic rank dependent on qualifications. This position will primarily involve attending on the Immunocompromised Host Infectious Diseases inpatient consultation services with opportunities for teaching and research.We provide consultation services to the solid organ transplant program (heart, kidney, liver, lung, and small bowel/ pancreas) and the Huntsman Cancer Center, an NCCN-designated comprehensive cancer center. Unique resources available at the University of Utah School Of Medicine include the ARUP laboratories, a national clinical reference laboratory, and a worldwide leader in innovative laboratory research and development. The position will include service in the outpatient ID Fellow clinics. The level of appointment will be based on the applicants prior experience and qualifications. Experience in managing transplant-associated infections is particularly desired.All faculty participate in the educational mission by taking part in seminars, didactic lectures, and clinical conferences. The Division currently has flourishing programs in the areas of HIV care, including a large Ryan White program; travel medicine and global health, and NIH/NCI-funded research in virology.Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must have a medical degree, board certification in Internal Medicine, board eligibility in Infectious Diseases, and be eligible for a Utah Medical License.Please submit a CV and letter of interest.
