Sustainability Engineering Manager, Equipment BU

Ultradent , the global name in oral health, is seeking a personable , passionate, and driven Sustainability Engineering Manager to join our Equipment Business Unit where we manufacture world leading curing lights.  

As a Sustainability Engineering Manager, you will provide mentorship and facil itation of engineers and CNC programmers that support the manufacture of this product . In addition, you will provid e engineering, technical , and maintenance support for the production machine shop and electronic assembly of this manufacturing operation .

As part of this team, you would be immersed in the following:

• Collaborate with Manufacturing team to identify , develop lead process improvement and engineering initiatives to increase efficiency, safety, quality, and productivity.

• Daily Stand-up meeting with production and machining teams

• Manage and execute projects o f various size and scope

• Support technical and manufacturing personnel

• Assist in providing future vision for the manufacturing area and personnel

• Perform and manage equipment maintenance

  What you'll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or 7 years in a technical field is ideal

• Previous personnel and project management experience a plus

• Experience with medical device manufacturing

• Experience with CNC machining and electronic assembly

• Experience in machinery maintenance

  What we a re looking for in you :

• Strong Lean manufacturing experience

• Strong Solid Works skills

• Strong understanding of CNC machining

• Understanding of engineering principles and best practices

• Hands on approach

• Great problem solving

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written

• Ability to analyze and interpret complex information

• Understanding of ISO13485 requirements
