Job Summary

We are seeking diligent and reliable individuals to join our team as part-time Starbucks Porters at the University of Utah Starbucks, located within the Marriott Library and run by the University Campus Store. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency and cleanliness of a high-volume Starbucks environment. This position is part-time and ideal for individuals seeking set working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Ice Transportation: Carry ice up and down stairs multiple times a day to ensure a steady supply for the store.

  • Dishwashing: Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness in a high-volume Starbucks environment.

  • General Cleaning: Assist with cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.

  • Stocking Supplies: Ensure that all necessary supplies are stocked and readily available.

  • Customer Assistance: Provide support to baristas and other staff as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Five years of experience in a related field, with two of those years working as a supervisor, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); knowledge of related trade or department specific equipment, systems and procedures. Demonstrated organizational, human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
