Job Summary
We are seeking dynamic, customer-focused individuals to join our team as part-time Starbucks Baristas at the University of Utah Campus Store and J. Willard Marriot Library locations. In this position, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff. In this position you will prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, assist with food preparation, and provide exceptional customer service. This position is part-time and ideal for University of Utah students.

Responsibilities
Greet and connect with customers, providing a friendly and efficient experience.
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to Starbucks standards.
Assist in food preparation, including sandwiches, pastries, and other snacks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the café area and equipment.
Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for food handling and preparation.
Stay informed about Starbucks products and promotions to assist customers effectively.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a current University of Utah student.
Preferences
Previous experience in a café or customer service environment is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
Willingness to learn and adapt to Starbucks procedures and standards.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
