What we need: Brady is looking for an SQA Engineer to work with engineering teams to efficiently ensure the quality of products being developed. The core purpose of this position is to develop and perform manual and automated test procedures for devices and associated software applications. You will be part of an engineering team designing and building embedded, desktop, web and mobile applications that will enable Brady to provide various solutions to our customers globally. What you’ll be doing: Develop a thorough understanding of our software and scanner products. Participate in agile teams. Build test suites and test environments. Execute automated and manual tests. Provide test results. Report and verify defects. Troubleshoot customer issues. Identify risks. Conduct root cause analysis of software, firmware and hardware defects. Interface with product and development teams to address bugs, enhancements and features. Assist in escalated support of customer questions or issues. Adopt test strategies that will help accelerate product development. Enhance automated testing capabilities by maintaining and developing our automation system using Python and JavaScript languages.. What you’ll need to be successful: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience testing software or firmware in R&D projects. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience programming in Python or JavaScript for test and/or automation..
