The specialist will assist the Leave Coordinator in advising employees and supervisors regarding ADA and available leaves at the college, such as Family Leave, Vacation, Sick Leave, Military Leave, Community Engagement Leave, Jury Duty, etc.

Assist the Leave Coordinator in providing information to employees and supervisors regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Provide updates to employees and supervisors of status. Assist in gathering information. Correspond with supervisors and medical providers, and interface with employees for clarification and verification of information. Responsible for maintaining files associated with ADA data.

Assist with providing information to employees and supervisors regarding the Family Leave process. Process applications, prepare correspondence to employee and medical providers. Track employee leave hours for intermittent leave. Provide updates to employees and supervisors of status.

Assist employees with questions and application for Short Term Disability benefits. Coordinate with Payroll.

Assist employees and supervisors regarding available leaves at the college, such as Vacation, Sick Leave, Sick Leave Pool, Military Leave, Community Engagement Leave, Jury Duty, etc.
