The research lab of Dr. Brenda Heaton seeks a RESEARCH ASSOCIATE with experience in epidemiology, survey research methodology, health disparities research, data collection and analysis, and scientific writing to join our team. The Heaton Lab is located at the School of Dentistry and the Department of Population Health Sciences in the School of Medicine at the University of Utah. As a member of Dr. Heatons lab, the successful candidate will be well-positioned to contribute to the study of oral health equity through research that investigates the social, economic, and political drivers of dental care access, utilization, and quality, including large-scale studies designed to investigate the relationship between oral health and overall health and well-being.
