State of Utah - Jobs Pesticide Case Manager in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

Job Title:  Pesticide Case Manager Job Description: If you take great pride in your attention to detail,enjoy reviewing case files for accuracy,and navigating cases through a civil law enforcement process,then this is the job for you. Incumbents in this job functionally assist the pesticide program manager in developing,implementing,and monitoring all administrative regulatory and compliance  aspects of the  pesticide compliance enforcement program and ensure that all administrative aspects of pesticide compliance enforcement are in compliance with federal and state regulations and policies. Issues citations on violations of the law,notice of violation,and/or stop sale notices. Provides technical leadership to facilitate the review of due process preparation of compliance violations,and implements administrative controls. Principal Duties:

  • Provide administrative support.
  • Manage case and compliance  activities and provide case review  information to inspectors.
  • Monitor program citations including notices,payments,challenges,and settlements.
  • Document,audit,and review systems and practices to ensure compliance with procedures,regulations,and standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate inspector  performance to ensure compliance with inspection report requirements; recommends action(s) to correct deficiencies.
  • Monitor program citations; implement controls and standards to monitor the processing and review of citations.
  • Write or draft technical reports,articles,or related material based on research,investigation,or analysis.
  • Monitor,track,and follow up on documentation,case files,or other assignments to ensure appropriate timelines are met and actions completed.
  • Receive,research,and respond to incoming enforcement questions or complaints; provides information,explain law,policy,and procedures,and/or facilitates a resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with and enforce applicable federal and/or state civil laws,regulations,and/or agency rules,standards and guidelines,etc.
  • Monitor and evaluate operations,programs,processes,and/or practices for quality and effectiveness; makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain detailed inspection,investigation and review records,prepares reports,and attends to other related administrative requirements.

  • Must be computer literate and have basic computer skills.
