Description

Robert Half is seeking a Trademark Paralegal for a temporary position with one of our clients. The position is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The candidate will be responsible for trademark litigation, discovery requests, and supporting trademark trials and appeals.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize incoming and outgoing information related to trademark litigation and discovery requests.

• Gather and provide evidence to support amendments to registrations.

• Assist in opposition procedures in trademark trial and appeal board.

• Use various software and management systems such as Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Excel to perform tasks and maintain records.

• Handle billing functions, briefing, calendar management, and complaint handling tasks related to the role.

• Employ skills in intellectual property, specifically trademark, trademark prosecution, and trademarks.

• Take initiative in managing tasks independently and efficiently.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Paralegal role, preferably within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industries.

• Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Case Management Software.

• Familiarity with LexisNexis and other Management Systems.

• Experience in handling billing functions and calendar management.

• Skilled in claim administration and complaint handling.

• Knowledge in Intellectual Property - Trademark, Trademark Prosecution, and Trademarks.

• Strong briefing skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field is preferred.

• Must be legally able to work in the United States.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
