Job Summary

The University Campus Store is looking for innovative, energetic, and team-oriented individuals to join our team. We have been part of the University for over 100 years and serve a large and diverse campus community. The Campus Store is seeking a Marketing Administrative Intern to support the internal marketing needs of the Campus Store. The Marketing Administrative Intern will provide complex administrative support to the Marketing Department of the University of Utah Campus Store. They will work directly with the members of senior leadership on a variety of short-term strategic and operational projects to improve the University Campus Store marketing needs. They will be responsible providing administrative support for all Campus Store marketing staff under the direction of the Marketing Manager. The incumbent will partner with various members of the Campus Store marketing and e-commerce team and provide various administrative support to the projects within their divisions.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager they will organize, assign, and monitor various projects, promotions, and campus store events for the marketing staff.

  • Prepares presentations and reports on various projects for senior management.

  • Collects, organizes and analyzes data for specialized reports.

  • Undertakes daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities

  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success

  • Assist with Social Media postings along with monitoring and interacting with comments

Minimum Qualifications

Must be a current University of Utah student.

  • The ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to work independently when necessary.

  • Highly motivated with consistent work ethic.

  • Effective communication in both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Preference will be given to students with related technical coursework and/or professional experience.

  • Must be a current University of Utah Student

  • Candidates will be expected to understand the following systems: Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
