Dr. Josh Andersen, an incoming faculty member in the Department of Oncological Sciences (starting September 1, 2023), is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of lab manager. The Andersen lab uses proteomics and molecular approaches to gain mechanistic understanding of cell survival and growth, particularly in the areas of kinase signaling, ubiquitin biology, and autophagy. Responsibilities of the position include planning, organizing, and directing various aspects of lab function, as well as laboratory benchwork. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and have experience with mammalian cell culture, and molecular and biochemical assays.
