The Lighting Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and works alongside the full-time Technical Director and Audio Supervisor to plan and execute events as well as maintain all lighting-area systems in a busy, historic theatrical venue. This role is hands-on and oversees all lighting needs including lighting programming, drafting lighting plots, distribution tie-in, systems operation and maintenance as well as assisting in projections and video needs. This position will supervise part time crew and frequently collaborates with community and touring organizations, ensuring event success.Kingsbury Hall is a 1950-seat proscenium theatre in the heart of University of Utah that hosts a wide spectrum of events including the UtahPresents season of about 20 dance/music/film/theatrical performances as well as numerous rental events for community groups, national promoters, campus events, and student performances. Genres include music, theater, dance, comedy, film screenings, lectures, conferences, graduations, and more.
