Legal Assistant - Justice - Family Justice

The Utah Attorney General's Office Justice Division is seeking a Legal Assistant looking to serve children in the community in the Family Justice Section. The Family Justice Section is made up of Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) and Criminal Non-Support prosecutors. Legal Assistants in this Section support these prosecutors as they protect children from sexual predators and ensure children receive necessary support from non-custodial parents. This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by participating in complex legal cases and cutting-edge legal issues. Applicants must be strongly motivated. Exceptional organizational skills highly preferred. Successful applicants may handle criminal cases involving child sexual abuse material.

This position may be filled at any of the following levels:

• Legal Assistant I (0-3 years experience)
• Legal Assistant II (3-5 years experience)
• Legal Assistant III (5+ years experience)
