The duties of this Lab Assistant include supporting several ongoing projects in the DYCE (Wang) Lab in the School of Biological Sciences. The Lab Assistant would support NASA-funded and other projects focused on global climate change, terrestrial ecosystems, and remote sensing using programming, geographic information systems, and unmanned aerial imaging systems. Lab Assistant would be responsible for curating the generation of tree mortality reference data, for developing field-based capacity for unmanned aerial systems, and developing and analyzing simple maps of terrestrial ecosystem properties from satellite remote sensing.
