Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing Technology (MarTech) & Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to lead our MarTech team and drive our SEO strategy and implementation. In this role, you will lead the strategic evolution of our MarTech and SEO initiatives, directly impacting customer acquisition, retention, and overall digital experience in a rapidly expanding fiber internet market.
This critical role will be responsible for our digital marketing & self-service technology stack, ensuring it aligns with our business goals and drives our growth, customer experience & efficiency goals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of marketing & digital technologies, ad tech, data analytics, SEO best practices, and team leadership.
In this role, you'll:
Develop and execute the overall MarTech strategy, aligning it with marketing and business objectives.
Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new MarTech solutions, conducting thorough vendor assessments and managing the implementation process.
Manage and optimize the existing MarTech stack, ensuring seamless integration between platforms and ensuring data governance and quality within the MarTech ecosystem. (Google-centric marketing platforms: GA4, Google Ads, GTM, etc.).
Lead and execute our organic search strategy. Responsible for driving traffic growth, improving search visibility, and enhancing the overall organic search performance
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to identify technology needs and develop solutions.
Mentor and lead a cross-functional team of MarTech and SEO specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration with digital, product, and engineering teams.
Stay up-to-date on the latest MarTech trends and innovations, identifying opportunities to improve our marketing operations.
Report regularly on MarTech performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
At a minimum we'd like you to have:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) with 8 years of experience in marketing technology, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
Experience with marketing automation and digital advertising with a strong focus on Google stack: Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, GTM, Google Marketing Platform, Data Studio (Looker), Google Search Console.
Experience leading SEO with a proven track record of driving organic traffic growth and improving search visibility.
Experience with ad tech platforms and data analytics to optimize digital advertising campaigns.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time domestically.
It's preferred if you have:
Master’s degree in a technical field.
Experience with data integration and management at scale in B2C and/or SMB ecommerce environments.
Experience in driving digital growth within the telecommunications, broadband, or subscription-based services industry.
Analytical and strategic thinking with attention to detail, influencing change across a complex, dynamic and highly technical organization.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Understanding of web front-end development, content management tools, and website management.
Experience with managing Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $154,000 - $226,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
