The Utah Lions Eye Bank, located in Murray, Ut, is a nonprofit organization and has facilitated the gift of sight worldwide through transplantation and research since 1972. This position also includes shift differential compensation and is eligible for half-time remote work.The Eye Bank Lab Technician participates in upholding core lab functions of the Utah Lions Eye Bank including laboratory maintenance, tissue evaluation and tissue distribution. The Eye Bank Lab Technician is required to be trained and capable of performing front line essential duties such as coordinator of potential donors and recovery of donor tissue and is responsible to perform those tasks as needed.
