We seek a Solution Train Engineer in the Medicare & Medicaid Enrollment delivery space! We're looking for a driven leader passionate about creating and growing a SAFe solution train to deliver value across Medicare, Medicaid, and specialty insurance lines. Role Overview:
The Enrollment Solution Train Engineer (STE) serves as a servant leader and coach, facilitating Solution Train events and processes while coordinating the work of Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Suppliers. You will collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Solution Managers, and various stakeholders to ensure continuous value delivery and improvement across multiple ARTs. Your leadership will be pivotal in aligning all solution events with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies, enhancing both speed and value in product delivery.
You must be authorized to work in the US without Humana sponsorship as Humana does not provide work visa sponsorship for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct the overall operations of a complex Solution Train focused on Enrollment across multiple business lines, employing Agile methodologies and metrics to drive value delivery and continuous improvement.
Work with ARTs and stakeholders to execute value streams and guide teams towards achieving the shortest sustainable cycle time.
Is responsible for guiding the solution strategy and aligning and reinforcing the solution vision and roadmap along with the Solution Manager and Solution Architect.
Oversee the Solution Train Backlog, managing capacity allocation and soliciting feedback for relentless improvement.
Address and resolve impediments and dependencies across the organization, ensuring strategic alignment in solution integration and release activities.
Foster an Agile mindset that values respect, transparency, and alignment, championing continuous improvement initiatives.
Utilize flow metrics to assess and enhance the health of the delivery system, setting improvement targets based on meaningful performance indicators.
Make timely, informed decisions to overcome challenges and drive global improvements, embodying the Enterprise Solution Delivery competency.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of related experience, including 5+ years as a Scrum Master, RTE, and/or Agile Coach in large-scale, complex projects.
Mastery of the SAFe Framework through roles such as Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, or equivalent.
SAFe certification(s): RTE and/or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC).
Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Proven track record of executing complex value streams across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Exceptional communication skills, with demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Mastery of Agile Lifecycle Management Tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA Align).
Advanced Scrum Master certification (CSP-SM, A-CSM, or PSM III).
Agile Coaching certification (CTC, ICP-ATF).
Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification.
Prior experience in the health solutions industry.
Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$129,300 - $177,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
