    JOB SUMMARY

Coordinates and supports day-to-day administration of a variety of programs within Economic Development. Works closely with and supports Economic Development leadership to coordinate the administration of programs and communicate with stakeholders. Provides support capacity to ensure that tasks are done in a timely manner with high-level attention to detail.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Economics, Finance, Political Science, or related field; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Executes on the day-to-day requirements of programs as assigned, actively working with program managers to understand the goals and objectives, executing on tasks as assigned, and identifying any additional issues or tasks as needed• Supports grant initiatives including researching grant opportunities, drafting Requests for Proposals and assist in scoring; generating quarterly reports; marketing grant programs; and coordinating with contractors, funding agencies, state agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with funding requirements• Assists in all Division research efforts, including qualitative and quantitative research projects, using online software to distribute surveys and analyze data• Participates in developing and implementing trainings and other resources for local businesses and organizations• Supports event management planning, including vendor coordination and on-site coordination• Assists in writing research briefs, white papers, and articles and presents findings at public events KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA) Knowledge of:

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work duties are typically performed in a general office setting.May require travel to locations throughout the County and out of State.
