KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Technology Architecture to join our Global Advisory team which is part of KPMG International organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced architectural frameworks using .Net technologies, ensuring scalability, high performance, and adherence to standards

  • Utilize .Net Core, C#, Microservices, Serverless architecture, and design patterns to build robust applications, applying dependency injection and other modern design paradigms

  • Design and deploy cloud-native applications using Azure; enhance distributed systems with technologies like Orleans, ensuring fault tolerance and robustness

  • Integrate generative AI technologies using tools like AutoGen, Azure Cognitive Services, and Semantic Kernel to improve application functionality and user experience

  • Craft and implement secure RESTful APIs; collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and operational management

  • Manage a team of developers through mentoring and code reviews; collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and other engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery and continuous learning

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of recent Technology Architecture experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

  • Proven expert experience in .Net Core and C# development and familiarity with frameworks and libraries within the .Net ecosystem, extensive knowledge of architectural principles and design patterns, strong experience with cloud services, particularly Azure

  • Expertise in performance tuning and optimization and experience with distributed systems and actor-based programming models; knowledge of integrating generative AI technologies and tools and proficiency in designing RESTful APIs

  • Solid understanding of security principles and best practices; hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

  • Demonstrate leadership skills and experience mentoring developers
