Job Summary

Directs the planning, implementation and administration of all essential elements of a comprehensive annual fund program, including fundraising (earned and contributed revenue), stewardship, benefit assignment and fulfillment, member events and hospitality, constituent boards and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead fundraising and stewardship efforts of the Crimson Club annual giving program

  • Maintain comprehensive development program that generates financial support for the mission of Utah Athletics to best position student-athletes to excel in the classroom, competition and the community

  • Direct solicitation efforts for annual fund comprised of scholarship seating obligations tied to season tickets and philanthropic gifts to the Crimson Club Excellence Fund

  • Conduct donor visits for the purposes of qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship

  • Oversee fulfillment of benefits for Crimson Club members at all membership levels

  • Work closely with Major Gifts staff to identify prospects and support capital and special projects

  • Collaborate with athletics external and other campus units to maximize member experience

  • Oversee donor stewardship program, including but not limited to thank you letters

  • Ensure seamless integration with the Ticket Office for unified member experience

  • Participate in planning and execution of Crimson Club event program, including donor events and game day hospitality program

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to see big picture and effectively delegate to execute vision

  • Ability to collaborate across functional units

  • Experience in a fundraising or nonprofit setting and a strong understanding of fundraising process

  • Experience interacting with donors, and proven ability to secure gifts

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products

  • Experience managing a database within ticketing platforms such as AXS , Ticketmaster, Paciolan

  • CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Public Relations, English, or a related field, or equivalency; three years experience in fund-raising, marketing, sales, business, public relations, annual, corporate or foundation giving

  • Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Preferences

  • Masters degree preferred.

  • Collegiate athletics development experience preferred
