About Utah Public Media at the University of Utah

Utah’s only PBS station, PBS Utah, provides enriching, entertaining, and informative programming that fosters a deeper understanding of the world. We embrace new platforms, technologies, and media formats to bring communities the content and experiences they desire.

The stations are at a pivotal point in their history, moving on from the pandemic and a tumultuous time in media with a renewed commitment to the fundamental principles of public broadcasting: to provide services that “constitute an expression of diversity and excellence” and “encourage the development of programming that involves creative risks, and that addresses the news of unserved and underserved audiences, particularly children and minorities.” (Public Broadcasting Act of 1967).

Our Director of Major Gifts will be key to that mission, connecting and finding donors who see the enormous potential and power for good in public media.
