Potential shift 11am-7:30pm open to changing but must be daytime hours, no overnights.

For all warehouse employees:

  • Keep workstations/lift equipment clean, tidy, and organized. 

  • Empty cardboard boxes need to be flat packed and placed in the blue recycling bin and not placed in front of dock door.  Trash cans and items that need to be thrown away need to be placed in the large garbage bin outside.

  • Pallets need to be stacked neatly and organized in the designated storage area in our bulk section.  Odd sized pallets, broken pallets, and pallets we can reuse need to be segregated and stacked neatly.

  • Let your leadership team know when you need additional help to stay on track with your primary responsibilities.  We can evaluate and determine our priorities on a daily basis to give additional help where needed.

  • Overtime – We all want to avoid working overtime and maintain a positive work/life balance.  A big part of our team goals will be to even out workloads over the week to avoid overtime.  However, during peak times, inventory, etc. overtime is expected and will be distributed across the team. 

Inventory Agent, Stock and Order Picker additions:

  • Since your primary responsibility is receiving this will include all distribution customers and small parcel providers (UPS, Fed Ex, USPS) daily deliveries.  

  • Utilize the order picker lifts before the rest of the team arrives in the morning for put away and cycle counts.

  • Empty cardboard boxes need to be flat packed and placed in the blue recycling bin and not placed in front of dock door.  Trash cans and items that need to be thrown away need to be placed in the large garbage bin outside of dock 7 and not piled or placed in front of the dock door. *(The only exception to this rule is for when you are picking orders).  The same expectation is placed on both the cross dock and shipping/packing teams as well.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Distribution Receiving & Inventory Agent

  • Receive all inbound shipments including small parcel deliveries and follow the driver check in procedures/policies.

  • Receive new inventory

  • Follow guidelines set forth in Expeditors Operational Performance Standards, Customer (S)tandard (O)peration (P)rocedures, and Local SOP’s established by the Team Lead and Operations Manager.

  • Direct/supervise lumpers during container unloading.

  • Receive returns (Arrived, Reconciled, to Put Away within 48 Business Hours).

  • Follow guidelines established in the Customer’s SOP.

  • Inventory Management

  • Perform cycle counts and rack audits as required (minimum of 50 positions per week).

  • Proactively manage PIR and put away audits.

  • Consolidate Inventory – minimize customer footprint, picker travel time by consolidating identical SKU’s.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Stock Picker/Order Picker

  • Pick orders as assigned by customer service representatives and/or leadership team in a timely and accurate manner

  • Kit product based on customer SOP with focus on detail to ensure consistent customer experience.

  • KPI expectation: 34 lines per hour, 50 units per hour minimum

  • Assist with freight receiving and put away as needed

  • Inventory Management

  • Quickly and properly report any inventory shortages discovered during the picking process.

  • Clean, maintain & organize workstations, equipment, and facility as assigned.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Shipping Line Warehouse Agent

  • Sort and segregate orders dropped at the shipping line by pickers.

  • Utilize the quality check/scan process to verify order accuracy.

  • Package/kit orders for shipping (re-packing or splitting may be required)

  • Process packaged orders for shipping on the appropriate system depending on package routing.

  • Sort and palletize outbound orders based on routing/ship method.

  • Assist with freight receiving and put away as needed.

  • Inventory Management

  • Quickly and properly report any SKU, quantity or quality issues discovered during the quality check process.

  • Clean, maintain & organize workstations, equipment, and facility as assigned.

     

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Warehouse Experience

  • Forklift experience/certification preferred - not required

  • Distribution 

  • Some computer skills

Reporting Structure:    Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor
