Zions Bank has just opened an opportunity for a Video Multimedia Editor based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

  • Portfolio required for the interview and examples of prior editing and video experience.

    Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to:

    • Operate professional video equipment (cameras, audio, lighting systems) in both an on-location and studio environment.

    • Utilize industry standard software suites and workstations to edit video projects for both internal and public audiences.

    • Enhance video projects with color correction and digital compositing skills.

    • Work closely with other communications staff, as well as with other departments, to ensure successful coordination and implementation of video project plans.

    • Work with other team members by providing input and creating needed multimedia work.

    • May include basic scripting and outlining for audience in social media channels.

    • Be adaptable, able to positively react to changing circumstances and direction.

    • Be able to move equipment from locations, able to lift 30 pounds.

    What you’ll bring to the table:

    • Requires a Bachelors’ degree in Communications, Film/Video Production or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.

    • Working knowledge of and experience with professional video camera equipment, as well as professional audio recording and monitoring equipment and professional lighting systems. Knowledge of studio equipment such as tripods, dollies, jibs and various camera control systems.

    • Knowledge of various computer systems and applications, specifically Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or DaVinci Resolve and Fusion.

    • Ability to work effectively with people in a collaborative team environment.

    • Creative contributor and problem solver with excellent attention to detail, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills.

    • Familiarity with various Social Media video formats and layouts.

    • Ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form.

    • Be adaptable, able to positively react to changing circumstances and direction.

    • Experience with Google Docs, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and presentation software (Powerpoint, Keynote).

    • Comfortable with an Apple Mac-based workflow, as well as a Windows-based admin workflow.
