Job Summary

The student staff position provides admin/clerical support to the Center for Native Excellence and Tribal Engagement ( CNETE )

This job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification. Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  1. Direct visitors to appropriate resources.

  2. Give new visitors tours of the CNETE .

  3. Provide primary phone and desk reception and perform regular space maintenance.

  4. Oversee the CNETE space and ensure the space remains accessible, welcoming, and professional.

  5. Conduct necessary intakes to refer students to appropriate resources.

  6. Develop and update calendar and resource lists when needed.

  7. Assist with planning, development, promotion, and execution of programs that further the mission of the CNETE .

  8. Support, promote, and stay well-informed of all CNETE initiatives; including tabling for CNETE when necessary.

  9. Reports to Program Manager(s).

  10. Support with content of CNETE newsletter.

  11. Assist staff members with additional duties, as needed
