The Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies at the University of Utah’s Huntsman Cancer Institute are seeking to recruit clinical faculty, rank dependent upon qualifications. The division currently has 36 full-time faculty members engaged in several subspecialties, who are also engaged in a broad spectrum of clinical, translational and basic research in Hematology.
Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah, the only NCI -designated Cancer Center in the Intermountain West, provides an excellent research environment. State of the art resources are available on-site spanning from world-class transgenic facilities, genome-wide scanning technologies to drug development platforms, pharmacology and toxicology. The scientific environment in the division and the wider University is vibrant and extremely collaborative. All clinical facilities are in close physical proximity to laboratories in the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
The mission of the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies is to provide state of the art diagnostics and treatment in an environment of compassionate care to patients with hematologic cancer.
Minimum Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification in Internal Medicine and BC/BE in Hematology; possessing or being eligible for a Utah Medical License; with initiative, curiosity and a dedication to a career in academia.
