The Campus Events Manager serves as an integral part of the Student Engagement & Leadership team, working directly with the Associate Dean of Student Engagement & Leadership, and a variety of campus partners. They serve as a professional event coordinator who is responsible for planning, managing and maintaining the logistics of programs, events and activities for university students, including but not limited to the development, implementation, promotion, and evaluation of a multitude of events, often times in conjunction with student boards and campus partners. The role will be focused on developing campus events for students, ultimately supporting President Randalls College Town Magic vision.Additionally, the role will support the Associate Dean of Student Engagement and Leadership with coordinating programming and events among Student Affairs departments to develop and maintain a master calendar of events, creating formalized processes for categorizing and defining types of events, facilitating standardized assessment protocols for programming in coordination with the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs, and more. The role will work to identify programming opportunities between departments and bridge gaps to transform existing programming to meet strategic goals.The incumbent will report to the Associate Dean of Student Engagement & Leadership.
