Property Description

The iconic Asher Adams, an Autograph Collection Hotel, is an adaptive reuse of the historic Union Pacific Depot. The proposed project includes a new 8-story, 212-key infrastructure, alongside an additional 13 keys in the renovated Depot, totaling 225 keys altogether. The full-service lifestyle luxury hotel will be a first of its kind in the Salt Lake City market. The irreplaceable nature of this generational asset earned it a designation from the Historic Landmark Commission, both for its cultural significance and striking appearance. The property is located across the street from Delta Center, home of the NBA's Utah Jazz and over 150 events scheduled annually at the 18,000-person arena.

    • Location - Our pre-opening space is at the Gateway, 15 South Rio Grande Street, Suite B, Salt Lake City, UT, 84101. Beside the Olympic Legacy Plaza Snowflake Fountain.

The Bar Supervisor will assist with leading the beverage team with all duties involved in execution of the beverage operation. They will assist with preparing beverages for guests and/or beverage servers in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner according to standards. They will practice prudent portion controls, set up the bar according to standards, and maintain inventories up to par. They will also follow proper closing procedures, lock up and store beverages, and adhere to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages.

• Constantly. Maintain an open line of communication for the distribution of pertinent information.

• Constantly. Maintain scheduling and labor costs.

• Constantly. Promote employee empowerment.

• Constantly. Report all unsafe conditions immediately.

• Occasionally. Assist with selection, training, supervision, development of employees according to Davidson policies and procedures.

• Constantly. Use proper guidelines for control of pour costs.

• Frequently. Issue and record all banquet liquor and wine.

• Frequently. Monitor staffing of beverage outlets.

• Frequently. Perform in the capacity of any position supervised.

• Frequently. Stock and set up all banquet bars.

• Occasionally. Attend required meetings.

• Occasionally. Complete all necessary paperwork relating to beverage operations.

• Occasionally. Conduct performance appraisals.

• Occasionally. Supervise set up of happy hour buffet to ensure Company standards are met.

• Occasionally. Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cros s training.

Qualifications

• Food/Beverage Service Worker permit, where applicable.

• Requires high school reasoning level.

• Requires 8th grade language level.

• Requires 8th grade math level.

• Working knowledge of wine, liquor and inventory methods.

• Read, write and speak English fluently.

• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.

• Previous supervisory/managemen experience.

• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.

• No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others.
