Foley and Lardner LLP currently has an excellent opportunity available for a paralegal in our Bankruptcy Practice Group. The candidate selected will provide assistance to attorneys and clients in all aspects of commercial bankruptcy and related litigation. The ideal candidate will have excellent research and analytical skills. They will also need high-level attention to detail as well as strong time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

Support attorneys in commercial bankruptcy in chapter 7 and restructuring practice involving chapter 11 cases as well as related litigation. * Prepare legal documents * Working knowledge of electronic case filing * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, as well as Relativity, and Trial Presentation software * Experience with BestCase and electronic research technology such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, PACER, etc * Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a paralegal required
• Experience in Chapter 7 Bankruptcy required
