Salt Lake Community College is seeking a dedicated mathematics faculty member with a commitment to excellence in teaching, professional activity, and service. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic, innovative department of reflective practitioners and skilled educators. Faculty members in our department are actively engaged in their professional communities, collaborate on curriculum development, and support students in acquiring essential skills and knowledge for academic and career success.

Under minimal supervision, the faculty will teach college-level courses, ranging from Intermediate Algebra to Differential Equations.

The faculty will develop, design, and implement course materials, ensuring alignment with program goals.

The faculty will assess and evaluate student work, providing constructive feedback and support for student success.

The faculty will contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of math education through curriculum innovation and participation in department projects.

Additional duties outside the classroom include continuing to develop professionally in the field of mathematics, math education and assisting in college and department needs through committee and individual service.

Faculty member may be assigned to any SLCC location and may be assigned an alternative work schedule.
