The University of Utah is seeking to fill a full-time faculty position for an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the University of Utah School of Medicine. This position will provide general (complex medical, amputee, etc.) rehabilitation services within the Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital with additional services possible including a combination of consultative and inpatient coverage care for patients with rehabilitation needs. Interest and experience in amputee care and pain management are preferred. There are also available opportunities for staffing our inpatient rehab unit in Jackson, Wyoming.

Applicants should have strong academic interests in pursuing advancement in research, clinical and/or teaching. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. Salary is competitive and benefits are excellent.

Located in the heart of Salt Lake City, UT there are abundant recreational, cultural and educational opportunities. In the spring of 2020, we opened the 75-bed Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital, which is one of the most advanced rehabilitation facilities in the nation and will serve as a catalyst for the further development of the University’s rehabilitation programs. We are looking for energetic academically-oriented physiatrists who will support this growth and help us expand our footprint regionally and nationally.
