Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced End User Computing Manager. This position is responsible for supervising the team that manages and maintains end user computing (EUC) devices, which includes personal computing devices and mobile devices. This position also is responsible for supervising the oversight of our conference room technology and other audio visual technology.

This role is onsite at our Corporate Salisbury, MD offices. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Accountable for making sure all end user devices are managed and maintained to stay supported and patched from security vulnerabilities. Participate in all monthly patching activities to test and deploy patches to our enterprise.

  2. Accountable for managing PC inventory and imaging process to ensure we meet our established SLAs on hardware deployment.

  3. Manages a team that is directly responsible for running our device management tools, which include: SCCM, Mobile Device Management, and Google Chrome Management console.

  4. Responsible for providing associate career development plans to direct team members to sustain an environment of continued associate growth.

  5. Accountable for all Tier 2 & 3 support tickets and problems, ensuring that the team is meeting established SLAs to support the business.

  6. Accountable and responsible for managing the lifecycle of devices from commission to decommission phases. Review market trends around end user computing to keep our company ahead of the curve on how users are getting work done on their devices.

  7. Ensure compliance of all IT policies on end user devices.

  8. Provide thought leadership to improve user experience. Develop a three-year strategy and roadmap that will support our end user computing infrastructure to ensure we are ahead of trends when it comes to: OS changes, equipment end of life/support cycles, and management solution lifecycle. Engineer solutions for both administration and plant operations.

  9. Manage projects for the team utilizing proven project methods to deliver projects that meet or exceed requirements with projects finishing on-budget and on-time.

  10. Manage audio visual technology solutions that aids in running successful meetings/events for the company.

  11. Develop and manage a learning center for our associates to aid them in learning about our EUC technology and company supported applications.

  12. Manage the companies Office Productivity toolset and ensure proper versioning and support.

Minimum Education and Experience

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree with preferred emphasis in Management Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a similar role. 10+ years of experience in Information technology specifically supporting end user devices.

PREFERRED:

  • Project Management Experience handling medium to large sized projects

  • VMware Horizon (Virtual Desktop) experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience using Microsoft’s System Center configuration Manager (SCCM) to manage 3,000+ PCs

  • Mobile Device Management experience to manage a mix of 4,500+ mobile devices (iOS and Android)

  • 5+ years’ experience in incident and problem management

  • O365 Administration experience

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

  2. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

  3. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.

  4. Ability to support off-hours support issues and staffing coverage
