Description We are offering an engaging role for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist in SALINE, Michigan. The successful candidate will be part of our team, focusing on the administration of payroll and benefits, and implementing key compensation strategies. The role's primary responsibilities will include the administration of 401k - RRSP, garnishments, payroll reconciliation, and the use of various software tools including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage the 401k - RRSP Administration, ensuring all processes are carried out accurately and on time.

• Handle Benefit Functions, including the coordination and communication of employee benefits.

• Manage Garnishments, ensuring all legal obligations are met.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to maintain records, generate reports, and perform data analysis.

• Administer Payroll using appropriate software, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Perform Reconciliations of payroll, identifying and correcting any discrepancies.

• Respond to inquiries regarding payroll and benefits, providing accurate and timely information.

• Stay updated on changes in legislation and regulations that may affect compensation and benefits.

• Participate in compensation surveys and analyze results to ensure our compensation strategy remains competitive.

• Collaborate with HR and management, providing them with accurate compensation and benefits data. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration

• Familiarity with Payroll and Payroll software

• Ability to handle Benefit Functions

• Knowledge of Garnishments process

• Experience in Reconciliations

• Background in Compensation & Benefits Specialist role or similar

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• A degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Strong understanding of compensation and benefits regulations and laws

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
