Description Your talents will be used to prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, build budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates will need excellent analytical skills and an ability to keep up in a fast-paced workspace. Responsibilities
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors Requirements - Experience with ERP systems
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
US GAAP experience preferred
Accounting close process experience
General familiarity with Local Tax
Proven knowledge of Accounting cycle
Well-founded grasp of Accounting Functions
Accounting Control experience
Practical knowledge of Local Taxes
Trial balance experience
Experience with Accounting Control
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
Able to manage time well
Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
