Our client, a leader in the agricultural industry, is seeking a Seed Laboratory Supervisor to join their team. As a Seed Laboratory Supervisor, you will be part of the Seed Operations Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Seed Laboratory Supervisor

Location: Salinas, CA

Pay Range: $92,000 - $105,000

What's the Job?

• Manage all aspects of physiology and physical purity seed testing.

• Coordinate activities with breeding, customer service, logistics, warehouse, and production departments.

• Train company employees in seed testing requirements and compliance with regulations.

• Monitor performance and adjust workloads to meet business goals.

• Maintain accurate inventory of lab supplies and ensure timely procurement.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Plant Science or related fields.

• Registered Seed Technologist (RST) certification.

• At least 5 years of managerial experience in a progressive role.

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for seed testing.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desired.
