Our client in Liverpool, Ny is seeking a warehouse associate. As a warehouse associate you’ll play an important role in making sure freight gets where it needs to go. You’ll work alongside a top caliber management team that understands the transportation industry while assisting with shipping and receiving. It'd be great if you have previous experience in dock or warehouse work, loading and unloading trailers and knowledge of handheld scanners.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Liverpool, NY

Pay Range: 17.50 Hr.

What’s the Job?

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped

• Load and unload trucks

• Matching purchase orders to sales orders

• Distributing orders to sales associates for processing

• Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and clients

What’s Needed?

• Ability to lift, push or pull 75 lbs

• Steel toe or composite toe boots

• Availability to work a variety of shifts when freight volume is high

• Ability to carry out instructions furnished verbally, written or in a diagram form

• Basic computer skills
