WorkSource Oregon Mental Health Associate - Navigator in SALEM, Oregon
Individuals in these positions will be trained to have a comprehensive understanding of the available resources in our community in order to help people successfully navigate into necessary services. These positions are a part of the Mobile Response Stabilization Services and as such will work with individuals after crisis contact to navigate into community services to minimize barriers. The individuals in these positions will assist in making phone calls and connections while providing support and transportation when needed. Typical Work Schedule Wednesday - Saturday 8:00 am. - 7:00 p.m., with flexibility depending upon the needs of the department and program. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES Provides individual and group recreational, social and skills training services under a professionally developed service plan; keeps records of persons served status; performs service plan directed case management functions under close supervision; performs related duties as required. Primary responsibility of this class is to assist and support other mental health professionals, without primary responsibility for a caseload. EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING Three years relevant work experience in a behavioral health services field; OR Bachelor\'s degree in a behavioral science field; OR Any satisfactory combination of work, education, training or experience relevant to the position, as determined by Marion County.
